Sébastien Ogier Claims Decisive 10th Victory at the 93rd Rallye Monte-Carlo

Sébastien Ogier achieved a monumental milestone by securing his 10th victory at the 93rd Rallye Monte-Carlo, driving the Gazoo Racing Toyota Yaris. His victory on Sunday not only marks his 62nd career win in the World Rally Championship but also his eighth win since becoming a part-time competitor in 2021. Ogier's emotional triumph, dedicated to his late uncle, was clinched with a dramatic win in the final Power Stage by a mere two-tenths of a second, highlighting his continued prowess and competitive spirit in the face of stiff opposition from seasoned drivers.

The rally, known for its challenging conditions and competitive field, saw Ogier holding off strong performances from notable competitors like Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, and Toyota teammate Kalle Rovanperä. The decisive moment unfolded during the final stage at the iconic Col de Turini, where Ogier maintained an 18.2-second lead, navigating through unpredictable weather and demanding terrains. This win not only underscores Ogier's exceptional skill and tenacity but also highlights the intense rivalry and high standards within the championship.

The event, organized meticulously by the Automobile Club de Monaco, drew large crowds and was celebrated for its execution and the fierce competition it hosted. With only one stage canceled for safety reasons, the rally was a testament to the enduring popularity and excitement of the World Rally Championship. As the 2025 season kicks off, Ogier's remarkable victory at Monte Carlo sets a thrilling precedent, with the rallying community now looking forward to the upcoming Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, continuing Monaco's rich tradition in the sport.
