Monaco's iconic nightlife venue, Moods, now rebranded as "The New Moods," has officially reopened, ushering in a new era with a grand opening led by HSH Prince Albert II. After a significant hiatus, the venue began accepting guests from December 5, with reservations already maxed out for its inaugural weekend. The location, just behind the Café de Paris, has been elegantly redesigned, merging its traditional appeal with a modern aesthetic.
Under the guidance of Stéphane Lobono, the new management has introduced a sustainable operational model that includes hosting private events. The artistic direction, orchestrated by Alfonso Ciulla, promises a season filled with diverse entertainment ranging from live music to stand-up comedy, starting with a performance by Hassan de Monaco. Additionally, the venue's culinary experience has been enhanced by renowned chef Marcel Ravin, who has developed a sophisticated finger-food menu.
The reopening also served as a homage to Jean-René Palacio, the venue’s former artistic director, with his electric guitars poignantly displayed at the entrance. The ceremony, which saw HSH Prince Albert II and HSH Princess Charlene relighting a symbolic bulb, highlighted the venue's historical significance. The New Moods is set to operate seasonally from October to March each year, enriching Monaco’s cultural and social landscape.
