Prince Albert II Attends Princess Grace Hospital's Annual Address Event

In a recent presentation attended by HSH Prince Albert II, Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG), alongside Christophe Robino, Government Advisor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, and Thomas Brezzo, President of the National Council, reviewed the hospital's achievements over the past year and set forth plans for the future. Rousseau de Sevelinges cited significant progress in patient care, with satisfaction rates reaching 84 percent following the introduction of the “Mystery Patient” program. The hospital also saw a 5 percent increase in patient intake and notable advancements in medical technology, including enhanced imaging and radiotherapy capabilities, as well as the implementation of 472 robotic surgeries.

Looking forward, Rousseau de Sevelinges expressed optimism about the transformative impact of the new hospital building expected to modernize healthcare delivery and elevate patient care standards. She also emphasized the importance of continued innovation and teamwork to foster an environment of excellence and compassion within the hospital.

In his remarks, Government Advisor Christophe Robino highlighted the challenges facing CHPG in the upcoming year, particularly the need for reforms in the status of hospital practitioners and service personnel, and the imperative to enhance cooperation among Monaco’s healthcare facilities. Robino praised the dedication of the hospital staff and stressed the importance of reducing waiting times for Monegasque residents. He concluded with a forward-looking statement about the critical role the new facility will play in the hospital's future, marking the beginning of a significant transformation in local healthcare services starting in 2025.
