Prince Albert II Applauds Helga Piaget at Inaugural Flowers4Art Event in Monte-Carlo

The Hôtel Métropole in Monte-Carlo recently hosted the inaugural Flowers4Art event, drawing notable figures including His Serene Highness Prince Albert II. Organized by the Monegasque association Passion Sea, under the leadership of Helga Piaget, the event underscored Monaco's commitment to sustainable urban development. Over three days, it showcased innovative green solutions such as moss-based vegetation systems and water-saving technologies in urban design, aligning with the principality's ecological objectives.

The event also served as an educational platform for the youth, with students from the International School of Monaco and Françoise Nicolas Barré’s classes participating. These students were introduced to the concepts of sustainable architecture and had the chance to exhibit their creative projects for the Passion Sea’s “World Water Flag” initiative, further highlighting the importance of environmental awareness from a young age.

Prominent environmental and design experts, including vertical gardening pioneer Patrick Blanc, contributed their insights, emphasizing the global relevance of sustainable architectural practices. The presence of Prince Albert II and other key figures at Flowers4Art not only highlighted the event's significance but also reinforced Monaco's role as a leader in integrating innovative ecological solutions within urban spaces.
