Prince Albert Honours Conde and Sergnese at 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo Victory

In a riveting showcase of electric vehicle prowess, the 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo culminated with Eneko Conde and Lukas Sergnese clinching a historic victory. The duo, navigating the challenging weather conditions of the Alpes-Maritimes in a Kia EV6 GT, achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first team to win consecutive titles since the rally's inception in 2016. Their consistent performance over the three-day event was a testament to their skill and the capabilities of electric rallying.

The podium also featured notable competitors from the principality and beyond. Olivier Campana and Nicolas Milanesio, representing the Yacht Club de Monaco in a BMW i4, secured second place, while the Belgian pair, Michel Decremer and Jennifer Hugo, finished third in a VW ID3. Additionally, Monaco's own Camille Gottlieb, alongside Margaux Grundstein, earned accolades for energy efficiency, winning the Enliten FIA Energy Performance Bridgestone Trophy in their Volvo C40.

Despite the inclement weather leading to the cancellation of the final stages, the rally successfully highlighted significant advancements in electric vehicle technology, with participants covering impressive distances daily without the need for recharging. The event, enthusiastically attended and featuring 40 models from 18 manufacturers, not only celebrated the prowess of its competitors but also underscored the growing shift towards sustainable automotive solutions, reflecting a broader surge in electric vehicle adoption across Europe.
