The Mozart Festival in Monaco, now in its fourth iteration, is poised to enchant music enthusiasts with a series of concerts and opera performances from January 23 to February 2. In partnership with the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, the festival schedule includes seven concerts and two opera evenings, featuring a rich tapestry of musical offerings that highlight both classical and baroque influences.
Esteemed performers such as clarinetist Pierre Génisson and conductor Kazuki Yamada will grace the stage, alongside emerging talents like violinist Bohdan Luts and pianist Alexandra Dovgan. This year’s edition also introduces a Spiritual Candle Concert at Monaco Cathedral, where attendees will experience Mozart’s sacred compositions in an evocatively historic setting, under the direction of Maestro Diego Ceretta and featuring soprano Emőke Baráth.
Cultural enrichment continues with educational and engaging formats such as the “Happy Hour Musicaux” sessions, where members of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo will perform chamber pieces. A special concert dedicated to young audiences will delve into Mozart’s early years in Italy, illuminating the composer’s developmental journey.
