As the leaves begin to fall, Monaco is already embracing the festive spirit with the installation of stunning holiday lights throughout the Principality. Teams from the Service Animation, Leblanc Illuminations, and Blachère Illuminations are working diligently to ensure that every corner of Monaco sparkles with holiday enchantment. By the end of November, residents and visitors alike will be treated to a breathtaking display featuring 87 cross-street motifs, 410 candelabra displays, and 25 elaborate scenes, culminating in a grand lighting ceremony at Place du Palais Princier on November 30.
In addition to the visual spectacle, the season is also about giving back. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Journée Monégasque des Nez Rouges, championed by Prince Albert II, introduces a festive twist this year. The charity, "Les Enfants de Frankie," has reimagined their iconic red nose into a Christmas bauble, available for purchase at €5. Proceeds will aid vulnerable children within the community, making the season brighter for everyone. These special baubles will be available from November at Carrefour, Monaco Post Offices, and various pop-up stands across Monaco.
Monaco's Christmas preparations promise not only a visual feast but also an opportunity for communal generosity and joy. From the daily glowing displays at Parc Princesse Antoinette starting at 16:00, to the collective participation in the Nez Rouges initiative, the Principality is set to celebrate a season that is as meaningful as it is delightful.
