Monaco to Host Eighth International Cat Show at Espace Léo Ferré This January

The Principality of Monaco is set to host the eighth Monaco International Cat Show, a prestigious event celebrating feline beauty and diversity. Scheduled for the weekend of January 11 and 12, the show will take place at Espace Léo Ferré, with doors open from 10:00 to 18:00 each day. This event not only promises to be a delightful experience for cat lovers but also an opportunity to witness a range of exquisite cat breeds.

An esteemed panel of seven international judges from France, Switzerland, Poland, the United States, and the Netherlands will evaluate the competing cats. These cats, presented by over 80 breeders, fall into various categories managed by prominent feline organizations Loof and Tica. With 165 cats representing 23 different breeds, including the Maine Coon, Persian, and Siamese, the competition is expected to be intense.

Admission to the event is set at 10 euros for attendees aged 13 and older, five euros for children between six to 13 years, and is complimentary for children under six years of age. In addition to the competition, special “favourite” prizes will be awarded to standout cats, adding another layer of excitement to the show.
