Monaco's Salle des Étoiles will host the illustrious 2024 World Rugby Awards on November 24, under the High Patronage of Princess Charlene. This event, which marks the fourth occasion Monaco has hosted the ceremony, brings an end to the international rugby season by celebrating the sport's finest achievements across rugby union and rugby 7s categories.
The awards ceremony will present 14 accolades, recognizing the year's best male and female players, top coaches, standout newcomers, and the members of the season’s ‘Dream Team’. World Rugby Chief Executive Alan Gilpin expressed enthusiasm about returning to Monaco, noting the Principality's historic association with world-class sporting events and highlighting the conclusion of a remarkable rugby season.
Nominees for these prestigious awards will be announced on November 18, selected by a panel comprising rugby legends and past awardees such as Thierry Dusautoir, Kieran Read, and Rachael Burford. Additionally, rugby fans worldwide will have the opportunity to participate by voting online for the International Rugby Players Try of the Year from November 18 to 20, celebrating outstanding plays in both men’s and women’s rugby.
