Monaco's Prince’s Government has introduced the MaConsigne campaign, specifically targeting the principality's senior citizens to act as ambassadors for sustainable living. Launched in 2022, this initiative encourages seasoned residents to set a green example for younger generations, promoting eco-responsible behaviors and consumption patterns. The campaign shines a light on the potential of elders to guide the community towards a more sustainable future through their invaluable wisdom and life experiences.
The chosen ambassador will feature in a promotional video to be broadcast on Monaco Info and various social media platforms, aimed at encouraging the adoption of waste-reduction practices supported by MaConsigne. This role also includes participation in various activities organized by the Mission for Energy Transition, which are designed to educate the public about the advantages of deposit-return systems and other sustainable practices.
Seniors who are keen to contribute to Monaco's environmental goals and are familiar with the MaConsigne principles are invited to apply. Applications, along with a photograph, can be sent via email to lcalori@gouv.mc, or by post to Léa Calori at the Direction of Communication, 10 bis Quai Antoine 1er, 98000 Monaco. The campaign is not just a call to action but a showcase of the principality’s commitment to environmental stewardship, led by its most experienced citizens.
