The final race, attended by HSH Prince Albert, President of YCM, and his nephew Pierre Casiraghi, Vice-President of YCM, was a proud moment for the Principality. YCM’s Secretary General, Bernard d’Alessandri, praised the competitors, acknowledging the fierce competition provided by Ineos Britannia and celebrating the unmatched record of Emirates Team New Zealand in the history of the America’s Cup.
This win marks the third consecutive and fifth overall victory for Emirates Team New Zealand in the America’s Cup, reinforcing their dominance in the sport. Their mastery of the AC75 vessels and adept handling of the challenging conditions in Barcelona's waters were key to their success.
