Monaco's Telethon at Espace Léo-Ferré Highlights Solidarity and Charity

Monaco's community spirit shone brightly at Espace Léo-Ferré over the weekend, as residents gathered for the second edition of the Telethon, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for genetic diseases. Organized by the Monaco Maladies Génétiques (MMG) association, the event built on the success of its inaugural edition last December, which raised almost 5,000 euros. This year, the event featured a rich tapestry of activities and performances, all aimed at bolstering support for this vital cause.

The day was packed with entertainment suitable for all ages, beginning at 11 a.m. with a children's play titled "Le musical des rêves." The afternoon continued to buzz with excitement, offering musical performances and a variety of stands designed to engage both the young and the old. Attendees enjoyed a jumble sale by Child Care Monaco, interactive workshops by the Monaco fire department and Smileys de Monaco, a nature-focused bonsai stand, and a Monegasque Olympic Committee-hosted quiz on the Olympics.

The Telethon at Espace Léo-Ferré not only provided a day of fun and engagement but also underscored the principality's commitment to supporting important health causes. The event exemplified the Monaco community's ongoing dedication to acts of solidarity, offering a platform for residents to contribute to the well-being of those affected by genetic diseases while enjoying a day filled with diverse activities and entertainment.
