Monaco's Prime Minister Engages with European Leaders at Budapest Security Summit

Monaco’s Prime Minister actively participated in the fifth Meeting of the European Political Community on November 7, 2024, hosted at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. The gathering, chaired by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, brought together 47 European leaders, including European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. This meeting aimed to tackle critical issues such as the ongoing war in Ukraine, violence in the Middle East, and key topics concerning economic security and migration.

During the summit, Monaco underscored its commitment to European cooperation and dialogue, emphasizing its role in addressing regional challenges linked to security and economic stability. The involvement of Monaco’s Prime Minister highlighted the Principality’s dedication to promoting peace and resilience in Europe, aligning with its longstanding policy of supporting continental and global harmony.

The event concluded with insights from the discussions being shared in a final plenary session and a press conference led by host Viktor Orbán and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who will host the next meeting.
