The Princely Government of Monaco has unveiled the latest phase of the Fonds Bleu initiative under the Extended Monaco for Business program. Originally launched in late 2020 by the Department of Finance and Economy and the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition, the initiative is now transitioning to focus more on digital optimization rather than just economic recovery. This move aims to enhance the adoption of digital technologies, spur innovation, and boost competitiveness within the local and global digital markets.
During its initial phase, Fonds Bleu was instrumental in the digital transformation of over 700 local businesses, with a total investment of 52 million euros, of which 24.3 million euros were in direct aid. The involvement of local digital service providers in over 90 percent of the projects has significantly reinforced Monaco’s digital ecosystem. Moreover, the program facilitated specialized training for over 3,500 professionals, contributing substantially to the Principality’s economic vitality.
Building on this success, the enhanced phase of Fonds Bleu introduces the MonacoSanté Sécurité plan, a collaborative effort with the Department of Social Affairs and Health. This new component is designed to bolster the security of health data, a critical aspect in today's digital age, while fostering trust and innovation in healthcare. These developments affirm Monaco’s commitment to leveraging digital technology for sustainable economic growth and competitiveness.
