In the wake of Monaco's National Day, the Principality's honorary consuls and diplomatic representatives convened for an annual working session at the Salon Belle Époque of the Hôtel Hermitage. This event, held on Wednesday, 20th November, is pivotal in reinforcing the ties within Monaco's extensive global network of consular and diplomatic connections. Participants engaged in discussions that reflected a unified approach to advancing Monaco's strategic international objectives, guided by the principles of HSH Prince Albert II.
Key topics at this year’s session included pivotal initiatives and forthcoming global engagements such as the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, alongside the Monaco Forum on Blue Economy and Sustainable Finance. Deliberations also covered Monaco’s participation in the Osaka Kansai Expo 2025, showcasing its commitment to sustainability and cultural contributions through an innovative pavilion.
The meeting underscored Monaco’s strategic approach to enhancing its international stance, highlighted by discussions on the activities of the Prince Albert I Foundation and initiatives like the Monaco Private Label and the Monaco Economic Board. These are part of broader efforts, affirmed by Minister of State Didier Guillaume, to streamline Monaco’s global appeal and outreach by 2025, ensuring a cohesive promotion of the Principality's values and attractiveness on the world stage.
