Monaco's Avenue Hector Otto Set for Overnight Resurfacing, Road Closures Planned

Starting Monday, October 28, Avenue Hector Otto in Monaco will be closed for resurfacing from 20:00 to 06:00 each night until October 31, and again from November 4 to November 6. This follows earlier network upgrades over the summer. Residents affected by the closure will have access to free parking at the Salines car park during these hours, with surface parking restrictions beginning at 16:00.

Further infrastructural enhancements include asphalt resurfacing on lower Pasteur Avenue scheduled for the night of November 6-7, aimed at improving pedestrian safety and facilitating better exit access from the CHPG hospital car park. During this period, access for hospital patients and staff will be maintained, ensuring minimal disruption.

Additional work in the Fontvieille district involves overnight operations from November 7 to 8 on the boulevards of Jardin Exotique and Belgique, with detours via Rue Bosio. Subsequent closures on Avenue de Fontvieille are planned from November 12 to 15 as part of alignment adjustments with the new structure in the Pasteur block. Temporary parking provisions will be made for residents impacted by these works. Throughout all closures, pedestrian pathways will be clearly marked, and emergency services will maintain unrestricted access, ensuring safety and accessibility.
