Monaco Run Gramaglia Achieves Record Participation with 3,800 Athletes

The 15th Monaco Run Gramaglia concluded with remarkable success, drawing a record number of 3,800 participants over the course of the event. The weekend featured a series of races including mountain and city trails, and a 1000m dash, culminating in the key events of 5km and 10km races on Sunday. The latter attracted 2,800 runners, affirming its status as one of the most attended editions of the race series.

The 5km race saw Belgium's Kimé Isac winning the men's category with a stellar time of 13 minutes and 15 seconds. In the women's category, Ethiopia’s Likina Amebaou defended her title with a record-setting pace of 14 minutes and 33 seconds, edging past her previous year's record. The 10km race, favored by competitive runners, was dominated by French athletes; Augustine Merau Lombard in the women’s slot with a time of 34 minutes and 6 seconds, and Cédric Cbert in the men’s category clocking in at 30 minutes and 44 seconds on his first Monaco Run attempt.

The event wrapped up with the Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk, which saw hundreds rallying for breast cancer awareness, adding a layer of community spirit and solidarity to the athletic achievements of the weekend. The 2025 Monaco Run not only celebrated sporting excellence but also reinforced its integral role in Monaco’s annual cultural and social calendar.
