Monaco Marks 1918 Armistice Anniversary with Solemn Ceremony and Dignitaries

Monaco solemnly marked the anniversary of the 1918 Armistice on Monday, with ceremonies attended by top officials including His Excellency Minister of State Didier Guillaume and members of the Municipal Council. The Principality paid homage to the conclusion of World War I, underscoring its historical commitment to remembrance and peace.

The day's observances commenced with a wreath-laying at the monument dedicated to King Albert I of Belgium located on Boulevard de Belgique. Subsequently, the assembly proceeded to the Monaco Cemetery for a poignant Remembrance ceremony at the War Memorial. This event, highlighted by the emotive performances from the Carabinieri Orchestra and the Municipal Music, was dedicated to the memory of those who perished in the World Wars.

The series of commemorative events wrapped up with a reflective gathering at the Maison de France.
