Monaco Legend Group (MLG) has once again demonstrated its prowess in the international watch market with a remarkable €16.27 million sales result, successfully selling 96.6% of lots offered during their Autumn 2024 auction. This event took place over October 19th and 20th at the scenic Le Meridien Beach Plaza in Monaco, which provided a perfect setting for the high stakes bidding by global collectors.
The auction highlighted several extraordinary pieces, including a rare steel Rolex Day-Date from John Goldberger’s collection that achieved a striking €1,196,000. Other notable sales included a 14 kt gold Rolex Daytona ‘John Player Special’ which garnered €1,027,000, and a coveted pink gold Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Moon Phase, which was snapped up for €1,222,000. These sales underline the continuous allure and value of unique and storied timepieces in the collector's market.
MLG’s influence in the luxury watch auction sphere is further enhanced by these results, as noted by Co-Chairman Claude Cohen, who highlighted the robust participation of international bidders both onsite and online. Established in 2015, MLG has been a dynamic force in shaping the luxury watch market, hosting two major auctions annually in Monaco and aiming to increase its international presence.
