Monaco Finalizes Pavilion, Showcases Environmental Commitment at Osaka Expo 2025

As the Expo 2025 in Osaka approaches, Monaco is finalizing its pavilion, set to be a highlight of the principality's environmental and innovative ethos. The pavilion, to be completed by February, will offer visitors an interactive experience emphasizing Monaco's maritime heritage and its commitment to sustainability. Featuring state-of-the-art technology, including AI-driven installations, the pavilion aims to encapsulate the principality's values and forge a strong international presence.

Mireille Martini, the pavilion’s Delegate President, expressed her excitement about the project. "This pavilion is a testament to Monaco’s dedication to environmental conservation and cultural diplomacy," Martini noted, highlighting the initiative's potential to enhance Monaco's global stature. The pavilion will be staffed by a mix of 13 Monegasque youths, who are currently learning Japanese, and 28 locally hired employees, ensuring a rich cultural exchange and an enhanced visitor experience.

The Monaco Pavilion will commence operations with a soft launch on April 6, a week before the official opening of Expo 2025 on April 13, and will run until October 13. In anticipation, a significant promotional campaign is underway in Monaco, including a virtual 3D tour of the pavilion accessible via QR codes, allowing those unable to travel to Japan to experience the display remotely. This initiative underscores Monaco's role in fostering global innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
