Monaco Enhances Express X3 Bus Line With Strategic New Stop

Monaco's public transport is poised for further enhancement with the introduction of a new bus stop on the Express X3 route, improving connectivity within the principality. Commencing on February 24, 2025, the new stop at "Place Sainte-Dévote (Gare)" will serve passengers traveling between Larvotto and Fontvieille, offering strategic access near the train station. This update follows a detailed analysis of commuter patterns and feedback, highlighting the government's responsive approach to transit needs.

Since their inception in April 2024, the Express X3 and X4 bus lines have facilitated a quicker commute across Monaco's districts, witnessing significant ridership. Operating weekdays from 07:00 to 19:00, these lines have become integral to the daily routines of many, with the X3 line alone attracting an average of 13,400 passengers each month in its initial year. The introduction of the new stop is set to enhance this service further, providing vital linkages for ease of movement across the principality.

This development aligns with the Monegasque government's broader strategy to refine public transportation in collaboration with the Compagnie Monégasque des Autobus. By continuously improving route efficiency and transit access, the initiative underscores Monaco's commitment to promoting sustainable urban mobility and reducing reliance on private vehicles.
