Monaco Enhances Employment Processes with New Digital Services Initiative

In a significant stride towards enhancing its digital infrastructure, the Principality of Monaco, under its “Extended Monaco” program initiated in 2019, has recently launched new online services aimed at transforming employment processes. Christophe Robino, the Minister of Social Affairs and Health, alongside Frédéric Genta, the Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition, unveiled these services on November 12 at MonGuichet.mc, the administrative portal of Monaco. The event saw key figures such as Pascale Pallanca, the Director of Labor, and other department heads in attendance, underscoring the collaborative effort behind this initiative.

Set to be implemented in stages, the initiative begins in November 2024 with the introduction of a real-time job portal and enhanced tools for the Department of Labor. By the end of 2025, Monaco aims to have established a completely digital hiring process, facilitating a seamless journey from job application to hiring, complemented by an online CV database to better connect job seekers with potential employers. The full digital transformation is scheduled to be rounded off in 2026 with the digital issuance of work permits, marking a full-scale digitization of employment services.

Highlighting the benefits of these technological advancements, Minister Robino pointed out that the new digital tools are designed to offer quick, secure, and customized employment solutions, reinforcing Monaco’s commitment to maintaining an efficient, accessible job market. Delegate Genta echoed this sentiment, noting that these developments will bolster Monaco’s appeal as a premier destination for global talent, aligning with the principality’s strategic goals in the “Extended Monaco” initiative.
