Monaco Enhances Economic Relations with Switzerland Through Strategic Partnerships

Monaco is actively forging stronger economic ties with Switzerland, supported by the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) in partnership with the Attractiveness Unit, Monaco Private Label, and the Principality’s diplomatic representations in Switzerland. The initiative aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and unlock new business opportunities for Monégasque entities.

In a recent strategic outreach, the MEB's Executive Director General Guillaume Rose and Deputy Director General Justin Highman led a delegation to Zurich from January 28 to January 30. This visit, which followed an introductory trip to Davos, involved high-level discussions with key Swiss economic leaders, including Claire Louis from the French-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Raphaël Tschanz of the Zurich Chamber of Commerce. The discussions centered on mutual growth opportunities, leveraging Zurich’s stature as Switzerland's economic hub.

The trip also included cultural exchanges, notably a performance by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo in Zurich, which served to strengthen socio-economic ties through cultural diplomacy. This ongoing engagement underscores Monaco’s strategic efforts to expand its international economic footprint and foster substantive partnerships that will benefit Monégasque businesses in the foreseeable future.
