Monaco Directorate of Urban Development Launches Extensive Road Resurfacing Campaign

Monaco's Directorate of Urban Development has launched a strategic resurfacing initiative aimed at keeping the Principality's roads in optimal condition. Scheduled from October 21 to November 15, the project will target eight crucial sectors throughout Monaco. The operations are meticulously organized to occur during nighttime to significantly reduce traffic disruptions, with most roads only being closed for a single night, although three areas will see extended work to incorporate necessary repairs.

During the resurfacing period, clearly marked manual signals and signage will facilitate traffic flow, ensuring unimpeded access to both public and private parking facilities and local businesses. Pedestrian pathways will remain accessible, and affected bus routes will be redirected post-8 p.m. Notable road closures will include Avenue Varavilla and Boulevard du Larvotto for short periods, and a more extended closure on Avenue Hector Otto, with alternative parking provided to accommodate residents.

The initiative underscores Monaco's commitment to maintaining its infrastructure to the highest standards, ensuring all roads are secure and pristine for the upcoming winter months. Emergency services will retain complete access throughout the project duration, and residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
