The Marché de la Condamine in Monaco was imbued with a festive spirit last Thursday as the community gathered for the prize ceremony of the “Mon plus beau dessin au Père Noël” contest. This event, organized by the Town Hall, highlighted the artistic endeavors of children up to eight years old from local schools, who submitted drawings to impress Santa Claus in this second annual competition.
Deputy Mayor Axelle Amalberti Verdino, responsible for Animations and Leisure, presided over the ceremony with support from Municipal Council members Marjorie Crovetto, Jacques Pastor, Jean-Marc Deoriti-Castellini, Karyn Salopek Ardisson, and Nathalie Vaccarezza. The event not only celebrated the young talents but also fostered a sense of community and creativity among Monaco’s youth.
The contest winners included Apolline (age 3), Pierre (age 4), Victoire (age 6), and both Clément and Lilly (age 8), with Arthur (age 5) receiving the special “Grandparents’ Prize.” Their artwork, noted for its charm and creativity, will be featured on placemats at the gourmet hall of the Marché de la Condamine, providing further recognition of their efforts. Each winner was also awarded a gift voucher, marking a memorable achievement in their young artistic lives.
