The Monaco Bus Company (CAM) has once again alerted its users to be vigilant of a scam proliferating on Facebook, which deceitfully promises a one-year free subscription to Monaco residents. This marks the second advisory issued by CAM since August, highlighting the recurrence of such scams aimed at exploiting unsuspecting users.
The scam operates through a deceptive Facebook page named 'Special offer for Monaco residents,' which baits individuals into clicking a link purportedly offering free bus transport until the end of October. The page appears more legitimate through fabricated user testimonials extolling the service. CAM has strongly advised the public to ignore these fraudulent promotions and to refrain from interacting with or sharing any dubious links.
For accurate information and updates on bus services, CAM reiterates that the only reliable sources remain its official website and the Monapass app. Passengers are encouraged to rely solely on these verified channels for any inquiries or services to ensure safety and avoid falling victim to online scams.
