Monaco and France Sign Key Pact to Enhance Cybersecurity Collaboration

The Monaco Digital Security Agency (AMSN) has partnered with France's Action Against Cybermalveillance (GIP ACYMA) to enhance cyber security measures in the Principality. Announced on Thursday, November 14, the collaboration was formalized through an agreement signed by AMSN Director Mr. Frédéric Fautrier and GIP ACYMA's Director General Mr. Jérôme Notin. The partnership will utilize the expertise and tools from GIP ACYMA, including adaptations of its "ExpertCyber" certification framework, tailored to fit Monaco's legal system.

This initiative is set to fast-track the development of a national assistance system in Monaco for cyber threat victims. This system will provide free support to individuals, businesses, and associations, connecting them with certified local experts. Additionally, it aims to boost awareness about digital privacy and establish a digital risk observatory to proactively monitor and mitigate emerging threats.

The project underscores a commitment to fostering a safe digital environment in Monaco through a public-private partnership model, engaging various stakeholders including government bodies, industry experts, and service providers. This collaboration draws on the strengths of GIP ACYMA, which since its inception in 2017 has become a pivotal entity in French cybersecurity.
