As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Top Marques Monaco, an art contest has been launched inviting the youth of Monaco and the Alpes-Maritimes to design a lunar vehicle for the next generation. The competition, inspired by Venturi Space’s FLEX lunar rover, challenges participants to create a vehicle capable of navigating the Moon’s challenging terrain. This initiative not only highlights the blend of creativity and technology but also encourages young minds to think innovatively about the future of space exploration.
The contest is set against the backdrop of the Top Marques show, scheduled for 7 to 11 May 2025 at the Grimaldi Forum. This prestigious event, known for its display of luxury supercars, rare classic vehicles, exclusive watches, and bespoke jewellery, will also feature a retrospective exhibition and the annual Carspotters Award. The competition encourages participants to consider practical issues such as non-traditional fuel sources and the rugged lunar landscape, fostering a forward-thinking approach to vehicle design.
Entries for the competition are accepted in two categories: primary school (CE2 to CM2) and secondary students (6ème to 3ème). Winners will gain recognition for their innovative designs and earn a visit to the Venturi Space showroom to experience cutting-edge space technology firsthand. Submissions are open until 18 April 2025, and details on how to participate can be found at www.topmarquesmonaco.com. This initiative reflects a commitment to involving the younger generation in shaping the future of transportation, both on Earth and beyond.
