Michel Decreer and Jennifer Hugo Triumph at 27th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique

The 27th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique concluded spectacularly with Michel Decreer and Jennifer Hugo clinching victory in their 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia after a challenging week navigating the legendary Turini night stage. The rally, which began in Valencia, tested competitors with its perilous Alpine routes characterized by unpredictable weather, pushing the limits of both drivers and their vintage vehicles as they made their way to Monaco.

The race's finale was as dramatic as its start, with the crucial stages at Col de Pomerol and a strategic pause at La Turbie before participants made the final dash to Port Hercule. Noteworthy was the performance of an all-female team and the resilience of the oldest competitor, a 1963 MG, which completed the rally despite early mechanical setbacks.

As Monaco gears up for the upcoming Monaco E-Prix on May 3-4, the successful conclusion of the Monte-Carlo Historique adds another illustrious chapter to the Principality's rich motorsport legacy, celebrating the spirit of endurance and precision that defines this iconic event.
