The Médiathèque de Monaco has announced an enriching lineup of cultural activities for January 2025, designed to cater to diverse interests across all age groups. A series of film screenings, literary discussions, and musical performances will be held at its three branches. Noteworthy among these are the screenings of Sofia Exarchou’s "Animal" and Felipe Gálvez Haberle’s "Les Colons" at the Bibliothèque Louis Notari. Additionally, literary enthusiasts can look forward to engaging sessions with authors Violaine Bérot and Pauline Déroulède discussing their latest works.
Creative pursuits are also well represented, with various workshops scheduled throughout the month. These include a traditional music workshop and a concert by guitarist Blagovest Georgiev, spanning a wide musical era from 1650 to contemporary. For those inclined towards crafts, a zero-waste sewing workshop and a writing session led by Éric Lafitte are available, with prior registration required. Health enthusiasts can benefit from a conference on eye care, offering valuable insights into vision preservation and eye strain reduction.
The youngest visitors have not been forgotten, as the Bibliothèque Princesse Caroline-Ludothèque offers specially tailored events such as a role-playing game night, family yoga sessions, and the Japanese storytelling art of Kamishibaï. These activities are designed to engage children and foster a love for reading and creativity from an early age. For further details and registration information, patrons are encouraged to visit the Médiathèque’s website at mediatheque.mc or contact the libraries directly.
