Historic Monte Carlo Rally Begins: Four Days of Racing Ahead in Monaco

The 27th edition of the Historic Monte Carlo Rally commenced this Saturday morning, with a robust lineup of 221 crews setting off. The event, which opened on Thursday, is set to conclude with its traditional finale in Monaco on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Monaco's Quai Albert-Ier, transformed into an impromptu open-air museum since Wednesday, showcased 86 classic cars to the delight of enthusiasts. These vintage vehicles, having undergone last-minute mechanical tweaks, embarked on their journey to Valencia from Monaco, signaling the start of a grueling competition spread over four days.

As the participants navigate through 1,687 kilometers and 17 regularity stages, they will face their ultimate test on Tuesday night over the legendary Col de Turini. This night stage represents the pinnacle of this historic rally, challenging each competitor's skill and determination before their anticipated return to Monaco.
