Two Greek tourists have filed a complaint through their embassy in Paris after encountering difficulties during their train journey in Monaco. The couple, who have chosen to remain unnamed, faced challenges disembarking at the Monaco Monte-Carlo station due to overcrowding, as they were unable to exit the train amidst the influx of passengers boarding.
The tourists, staying at one of Monaco's premier hotels, had traveled from Nice Ville to Monaco with valid tickets. However, they were confronted with a demand from train controllers to pay a fine of €100 each for allegedly not having valid tickets, despite possessing proper documentation for their journey from Ventimiglia to Monaco.
The incident, as described to NEWS.MC by the husband, has significantly marred their week-long visit, overshadowing their anticipated leisure time in the Principality.
