Scuderia Ferrari has unveiled its driver lineup for the 2025 Formula 1 season, featuring Monegasque native Charles Leclerc and new recruit Lewis Hamilton, formerly of Mercedes. The announcement, highlighted by the release of photos showing the drivers in the iconic Ferrari red uniforms, has sparked considerable excitement among fans. The racing suits maintain their classic design with a white stripe and omit last year's gold accents, instead showcasing a new prominent blue HP logo as part of an expanded sponsorship deal.
The pairing of Leclerc and Hamilton marks a significant moment for Ferrari, with Hamilton's switch from Mercedes being one of the sport's most high-profile transfers in recent times. The duo was recently seen together for the first time in Ferrari colors at a test session, signaling a strong start to their collaboration. Leclerc, entering his seventh season with Ferrari, has also introduced a new helmet design that incorporates more white, reflecting the colors of the Monaco flag, and features his personal 'CL 16' logo.
As the Formula 1 community anticipates the start of the season, all eyes will be on the Bahrain pre-season testing scheduled from February 26 to 28. This will be the first opportunity to see Hamilton in action wearing Ferrari red, complemented by his distinctive yellow helmet. With such a formidable team, Ferrari looks set to make a significant impact in the 2025 championship.
