European Heritage Days Draw Over 700 Visitors to Monaco's Key Sites

The 29th edition of the European Heritage Days in Monaco, held under the auspices of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs and the Institute of Heritage, unfolded successfully on a sunny Sunday, September 15. Celebrating the theme "Routes, Networks, and Connections," the event drew an impressive mix of locals, neighboring residents, and tourists, with overall attendance reaching 719 visitors across key sites.

Notable venues such as the Monaco Town Hall, the Rainier III Academy, the Botanical Center, and the Pavillon Bosio School of Fine Arts opened their doors to the public. The Town Hall was particularly popular, attracting 475 visitors who explored the Marriage Hall, new Council Room, and an exclusive exhibition of rare documents. Additionally, the locale was enlivened with traditional Monégasque songs by the U Cantin d’A Roca choir and a photo booth experience in the Council Room.

Other cultural highlights included guided tours at the Rainier III Academy, where 40 guests engaged with music professionals and instrument demonstrations. The Pavillon Bosio hosted the visually engaging "Dances of the Eye" exhibition, while the Botanical Center saw 90 attendees exploring its exotic collections. The event, deemed a resounding success by the Municipality of Monaco, underscores the principality's rich cultural fabric and commitment to arts and heritage. The Town Hall’s exhibition "The Vertical Journey: Monaco and its Stairs, Munta Cara!" remains open to the public until Friday, September 20.
