Caroline Multimedia Library to Open as New Cultural Hub in Monaco by 2025

Set to open at the end of 2025, the Caroline multimedia library is anticipated to become a cornerstone of cultural innovation in Monaco. Located in the central Ilot Pasteur and named in tribute to Princess Caroline of Hanover, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to be freely accessible to all. It will consolidate the city's cultural resources by housing the video library, games library, sound library, Louis Notari library, and Princess Caroline library, which are currently spread across various locations.

The introduction of an auditorium within the media library marks a significant enhancement, broadening the scope for hosting workshops, conferences, and other cultural events. This move underscores a substantial shift towards increased communal engagement and accessibility in Monaco's cultural scene.

In a further commitment to cultural accessibility, the Town Hall has announced that from 1 January 2025, membership to the media library will be free for all. This initiative reflects Monaco’s ongoing dedication to fostering an inclusive environment where culture and knowledge are readily available to everyone.
