Beking Monaco Celebrates Fourth Edition with Pre-Event School Visit

The fourth edition of Beking Monaco is set to captivate the Principality tomorrow, November 24, showcasing elite cycling mixed with community spirit in the heart of Monaco. This year, the event highlights the dual benefits of cycling—its role in promoting health and its environmental advantages. As part of the build-up, renowned cyclists Victor Angelotti and Matteo Trentin visited Ecole des Revoires, encouraging students to consider cycling not just as a recreational activity but also as an eco-friendly transportation method.

The day's activities will commence at 9 a.m. with a PRO-AM race that pits professional against amateur cyclists, followed by a family-friendly ride around Port Hercule at 11:30 a.m., designed to provide children and families an opportunity to cycle with professionals in a secure environment. The event peaks in the afternoon with a high-octane two-hour professional race featuring world champion Tadej Pogačar, offering spectators thrilling competitive action.

Beking Monaco, beyond being a sporting event, acts as a platform for advancing Monaco’s sustainability goals. It underscores the Principality's commitment to reducing vehicular traffic and promoting the use of its public bike-sharing services. With a blend of top-tier sporting and significant community engagement, the event is set to underscore the importance of cycling in fostering a healthier, greener future for Monaco.
