AS Monaco Secures Commanding Victory Over Auxerre, Climbs to Second in Ligue 1

AS Monaco marked a triumphant return to Ligue 1 action following the international break, overpowering Auxerre with a decisive 3-0 win. This victory at the Abbé-Deschamps stadium propelled Monaco to second place in the league standings, now totaling 10 points. The win sets a confident tone as the team prepares for a significant upcoming match against Barcelona on Thursday, September 19.

The match saw Monaco quickly establish control, with Thilo Kehrer scoring the opener in the 8th minute via a header from Lamine Camara’s corner, marking Camara’s first Ligue 1 assist and Kehrer's second goal for Monaco.
