Annual Monegasque Picnic U Cavagnëtu Set for September 7 Return at Parc Princesse Antoinette

Monaco is set to embrace its local heritage with the return of the annual U Cavagnëtu picnic on Saturday, September 7, at Parc Princesse Antoinette. This cherished gathering is exclusive to Monegasque citizens and their spouses, who are required to present identification at the park's various entry points to participate in the evening's festivities.

The event will commence at 18:20 with a mass held on the park’s sports field, setting a communal tone for the evening. Following the mass, attendees will enjoy a picnic accompanied by musical performances from the U Cantin d’A Roca choir and a Jazz Quartet led by Lionel Vaudano from the Rainier III Academy. Adding a novel touch to this year's program, a grand ball is scheduled from 20:30 to 22:30, promising an engaging social experience.

In support of the event, from 17:00 on the day, showing a Monegasque ID or an invitation will grant free access to Monaco's bus network and complimentary parking at the Jardin Exotique car park, facilitating smooth participation for all attendees.
